Context on the Sixth Edition of the Mother Earth News Archive: 1970-2009...

This upload comes from a DVD marked "Mother Earth News - 1970 - 2009".

I received it from my mother, who wanted a backup. Originally, you would put it in your DVD drive, it would hit AUTORUN, start a local exe script, and open the archive in the browser. That won't really work today, and I figure my mom would struggle to view the archive otherwise. Hence, I'm giving it an upload to my personal site.

The site seems to render well enough, and you can read articles. The biggest problem, by far, is that search is broken. Search uses a Java applet, and modern browsers refuse to support them. Replacing the applet with JavaScript would be a cool project, but beyond the effort I'm willing to put into it.
